LAP RECORD HOLDERS at THE BEND

Congratulations to the following members who after having a run at the Bend over the weekend are now LAP RECORD HOLDERS on the 4.95k International Circuit. NCB Rob Smith with a 2.24.30 Class NCC Rory ONeill on the 4.95k International Circuit. Class NCE Josh Axford with a 2.16.82 No doubt these records will stand for a while on that circuit as it’s not the preferred circuit for our category.   Well done guys.

Changes to race meeting at The Bend in June.

Today it was brought to our attention that the June race meeting on 9th and 10th of June at Tailem Bend has been reduced to a one day meeting and no guarantee of a practice day. We understand some local competitors will still choose to run on Sat 9th still as a One day event. We apologise for this change. Large Contingent of Historic Touring Cars coming over from Victoria and NSW for the Tailem Bend Rounds

Have a look at the Sporting Car Club Racing Series this year and note the two dates at the Bend. If your an entrant get your entries in real quick when they come out on Meecams because the Vics and New South Welshman are coming over. If your a spectator then lock in the dates and come on down to the greatest new race track in Australia.

June SCC Round 2 at Mallala

At our last committee meeting based on expected numbers racing, it was decided to postpone the THR Cup until later in the year.   So the 2nd round of the SCC series on June 10th and 11th is now just a points round for Driver of the year still.   We will run our THR Cup and $150.00 driver rebate at the November round.   So get out there in June and gets some points and and don’t forget the special meeting away  at Richmonds in [...]

Christmas on the Farm for Members

Members Only Well its time to celebrate and enjoy a fun day at the Barnes Farm at Paris Creek . South Australian Hillclimb Championship Sept 17-18 Collingrove

Well with the SCC Round 3 not attracting any HTCASA Competitors and the DOTY Points going begging the next DOTY Points event is the SA Hillclimb Championship at Collingrove. Master of Mallala” CAMS State Championship Round 3

Dont forget if you want to run in the 3rd round of the Master of Mallala State Championship then entries close soon. The weekend of 20th and 21st of August and HTCASAs 2nd round for points to the DOTY 2016. Enter now and if not come on out over the weekend and support our guys. Historic Commission push to make Engine Sealing of Group N cars compulsory by 2018

For your information We received the following notification by email recently. The historic Commission will include the requirement for engine measuring and sealing in the 2017 Group N regulations. There will be a phase in period with all cars expected to have engines measured (bore and stroke) and sealed by January 2018. Winton Festival of Speed 2016.

The Winton Festival of Speed will be held again this year on the long track over the weekend of 6th and 7th of August. For those interested there will be a 20 lap race for Historic Touring cars with a pit stop providing they get the necessary numbers so if your interested look out for entries when they come out.
