Lots been happening

Just keeping you up to date with whats been happening with Historic Touring Cars in SA lately.

The first hit out for our cars was on Feb 19th at the Sporting Car Clubs Twilight meeting with  5 members competing on the day and getting things sorted for season 22. For photos see gallery

Next was Sporting Car Club Round 1 and Phillip Island Historics both on the same weekend 12th March.
We had nobody at Round 1 and 3 cars competing at the Island  being Ian Pringle, Stuart Barnes and Paul Atkins. Ian brought home the highest place mini for the weekend, Paul was fastest pushrod Cortina and Stuart debut the new Cortina and has some teething problems over the weekend.

Friday the 1st of April Josh Axford had his BDA Escort on stage at the Sporting Car Club for the Classic and Modern meeting  promoting the club and The Anzac Historics. see below

Sunday the 3rd of April we had 26 people along for an Around the Garages and lunch in the Barossa. First stop was at a local Land Speed racers garage inspecting a 215mph VN Commodore and listening to the builders challenges to build and there goals for the future.
Next stop was a members garage and the equipment and workmanship that goes on in his garage was second too none. This was followed by a great lunch at The Greenock Tavern and then a shed tour at another members house to finish the day.
Many thanks to Evan Gobell for organizing a bloody fantastic day.
