A concept dreamed up a few years ago by The Western Australian Historic Touring Car Club and The Vintage Sports Car Club of WA has been run and won in the West.

A year in the planning and 5 of us have just spent two weekends racing at Perths two race tracks. With 3 Cortinas and Two Minis on a truck we ventured West in early September.

Weekend 1 was at Wanneroo/Barbegello near Perth and with Practice Qualifying and 5 races provided plenty of action for our members.

Weekend 2 followed about 250klm south east of Perth at The Collie Motorplex and what a gem of a race track this was. Again Practice Qualifying and 5 races provide plenty of track time at this awesome little race track.
